This clock was developed in smaller functional blocks, display boards on top, divider boards below, and the power supply board on the lower right.

Note the extra information encoded in the component symbols indicating value.  The PNP transistor outline is different from the NPN, the resistors and capacitor outlines guide you.  There are very few values, this clock is built mostly of 10K, 100K resistors, 220 pF caps, 1N4148 diodes, and mostly NPN transistors.
